What to include

You don’t need to write an essay.

A few lines is fine. Most useful:

Tell me

What your site is

The URL, what the business does, roughly how big the site is. That’s enough to get started.

Tell me

What you think is wrong

Your instinct about what isn’t working — rankings, traffic, conversions, something technical. Even a vague sense is useful.

Tell me

What you’re hoping to achieve

More enquiries, better rankings, a new site, an honest second opinion on your current agency. I’ll ask the right questions from there.

Availability

A note on retainer spots.

I work with a maximum of five clients at a time. If you are enquiring about a retainer engagement — rather than a one-off audit — it is worth mentioning that in your message. Availability changes, and flagging your interest early means I can let you know when a spot opens if one is not available right now.

Site Audits are always available — they are not subject to the five-client limit. If you want a diagnosis and an honest picture of where things stand, that can always happen.
